Ryan Gosling payed tribute to wife Eva Mendes during an interview promoting his new movie, The Fall Guy, on Monday (April 29) with a very sweet and supportive gesture. The "Crazy, Stupid, Love" star donned a t-shirt that displayed the title of Mendes' forthcoming children's book, Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries, in an effort to help his longtime partner promote her latest passion project.

The picture book, written by Mendes and illustrated by Abbey Bryant, was inspired by Mendes and Gosling's two children, 9-year-old Esmeralda and 8-year-old Amada. Mendes spoke about the meaning behind the project during an interview with People in February, referring to it as a love letter to her children, and to all children who read it.

"Desi, Mami and the Never-Ending Worries is a love letter to my kids and yours. Learning how to train our brain to work for us and not against us is easier said than done! At my home and in Desi's, we try to deal with the never-ending worries and anxieties that we all have, so those negative thoughts don’t take over and dominate."

Gosling constantly showers his family with love and support and always speaks very highly of them when accepting awards and taking part in interviews. The "Barbie" standout sat down with Men's Health last week (April 22) to discuss what he cherishes most in life, and, in no surprise to anyone, Eva, Esmeralda, and Amada, were at the forefront of his thoughts.

"I often think about what's going to matter to me on my deathbed that I did and that I didn't do. It puts things into perspective. It always comes back to family first. I don't think I'll regret anything professionally, but I do think when it comes to Eva [Mendes] and the girls, they come first. I don't know, it's probably not a good thing that I go deathbed, but it's helpful for me. Anytime I'm struggling, I just think about whether it's going to matter to me then because, yeah, this whole thing can be distorting…. Are you going to care about this thing, whether you did it or not, whatever the thing is? It's extreme, but it's helpful."

An English and Spanish version of Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries will be released on September 17th!
