So for the longest time my gf has been bugging me about getting her a camera...In figured ok for her bday id get a camera right?  little did i realize that by "camera" she meant something that cost $700 to buy....a $700 camera!?!?!?


So i had to break down and get a best buy credit card and buy her this bitchin nice ass nikon camera...BUT this post isnt about that....its about me finally coming into 2008 and buying an xbox 360!

oh hell yes...i picked up a couple games too...deadliest catch and gta iv so if youre ever on hit me up my gamertag is

hooch1045..... i suck at the games but i try...im ok at nhl 2008 so yea play me

hey everyone...sorry i was out for 2 weeks...but i had some things to take care of (not jail*) haha

so i guess i'll give ya an update about everything that has been going on for the past couple weeks....

1. Im moving...so if anyone wants to help lemme know...itd be much appreciated and i'll pay you in beer...if you arent 21 then i will pay you with lemonade...or shirly temples**   Only moving like a mile away...so dont worry =0)

2. I went to Rothbury this weekend and had an amazing time....I got to see some great bands and singers like perpetual groove, zappa plays zappa, state radio, snoop dogg, the wailers, and widespread panic***

3. SAD NEWS WARNING SO DON'T READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO- A person I consider to be my uncle**** passed away this past week, everything is fine but its been tough for a lot of people involved

4. My favorite band stephen kellogg and the sixers anounced their fall tour with a stop in ann arbor (tight)

5. My dog likes to chew S#%T up and that sucks but she's learning to play fetch which is pretty cool

So for the past 2 weekends, i have been back in my home town of Detroit...annnnd I gotta say even though i like GR, detroit is where my heart is...its my home ya know?



Downtown is f'ing awesome! I went down to the zoo and took a TON of pictures...here are a couple...

Oh man...what a weekend!

If youve been listening to the show at all in the past month, you would have heard that I have a girlfriend...wellll this weekend I took he down to meet the parents and all the friends back in Detroit- pleased to say that everything went really well...except that we went to the Red bull Air races in downtown on sat. and they got cancelled due to "too much wind"

What the F**k?  Seriously? Too much wind??  You're in a plane goin close to 300mph and there was too much wind?  Whatever red bull....im pissed

Now...the real reason of this post...Tonight my team the Detroit Red Wings could capture the most difficult trophy in all of sports to win...Lord Stanley's Cup better known as THE STANLEY CUP



This trophy has been through it all...been lost and even thrown in a river when one guy got too drunk to hold it....but tonight it could return back to it's rightful place in hockeytown!



This is al sobotka...he's the man...also the zamboni driver and cleaner-upper of octopus ha

So today as soon as i walk into the studio, dbag holmes shouts out..."jesus man, what happened to your face?!"

To which i reply with the truth..."bear attack man...i caught a claw but im straight."

Needless to say, he didnt believe me and i was forced to tell the full truth to him...and now you..



A couple days ago i had my eyebrow re-pierced, ive had it done 3 previous times but had to take it out for various reasons. Since this was the 4th time, the piercer had to go through a good amount of scar tissue....this in turn caused my eyebrow to swell up a little more than normal...no big deal except that it hurts like a BITCH every time something hits it




Fast forward to last night...after i left wall 2 wall with my girlfriend we went home and uhhh...we...went to bed....not too soon after this, my eyebrow and nose just hurt...the bridge of my nose felt like it had been cut...didnt think anything of it.so i just figured it was nothing  until she got up and turned the light on

She started laughing and then said "oh  s**t, are you ok?"



i went to the mirror and my eyebrow had a huge bruise around it...like half a black eye and the bridge of my nose was cut open...annnnd was bleeding pretty good

needless to say...i laughed my ass off when i saw this...so those are some pictures from today...i'll let ya know if anything else happens ha



 

So i had a friend (read: roomate) ask me what my favorite movie of all time was...i quickly realized that I couldnt narrow it down to 1...or 5...or even 10...it was tough...

It was then that i decided to give a definitive list of my favorite movies, not by any genre or any time period for that matter....Now, I'll be the first one to admit that some of these are actually bad movies, but i like em anyway
